On Saturday the 28th of January Apollo will host the annual Winter Fair again! During this day, everyone is welcome to enjoy the coziness of winter with fun activities, workshops and performances. It takes place between 14:00 – 20:00 in the Vrijhof. You can choose to stay the entire day, or just pop in and out for a quick workshop.
Charity
During the WinterFair, the goal is to raise money for a charity. This year’s charity will be “Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Enschede”. This fund provides children from fewer income families to participate in sports and culture. The money raised during the Winter Fair will be donated by Apollo to this charity. So make sure to come by to show your support! However, we still made sure to keep all prices affordable (with the option to donate more) and also have activities you can join for free!

Workshops
We have fun workshops you can join, like an improvisation theatre workshop by Pro Deo, a street dance workshop by Yoshua (from Break-Even) and a regular theatre workshop by NEST. These workshops will last around an hour, you can join a workshop for just €3, which will entirely go to charity! You can (but don’t have to) sign up using the following LINK. This will help us estimate how many people will be joining the activities.
Performances
We will have a choir performance by Musilon, where they will sing some nice Christmas carols, because it’s never too late to enjoy some Christmas spirit. Furthermore, UTMost will give a concert with their jazzcombo. Performances will last about half an hour, and will cost only €1.50 to watch, which will go to charity!
Activities
There are also various activities you can do throughout the day, like watching a movie on a big screen, doing some fun karaoke, or playing Just Dance! Most of these activities you can join for free, so make sure to stop by!
General
Next to these, you can also of course just have a fun time and hang out the whole day, play some board games in the Apollo room, and enjoy some nice drinks and snacks!
